Refrigerator - facade made of plastic, easy to maintain, practical, roomy
A refrigerated cabinet maintains food at safe holding temperatures by circulating chilled air evenly across every shelf. The cooling unit draws heat from the interior and expels it outside, while a fan distributes the cold air so no hot spots form. This method keeps large quantities of prepared dishes, chilled desserts or fresh ingredients ready for service without drying them out or allowing bacterial growth.
The operator loads trays or containers onto the three adjustable shelves, sets the desired temperature between 0 and 10 °C on the electronic controller, and closes the door. Forced-air circulation begins automatically, and the built-in display shows the current temperature. When the cabinet reaches the set point, the compressor cycles on and off to maintain it. A key lock secures the contents, and automatic defrost prevents ice build-up on the evaporator, so no manual defrosting is required.
The cabinet is constructed from powder-coated steel in white, forming a seamless interior and exterior that resists corrosion and wipes clean easily. Shelves are rated to hold up to 8 kg each, allowing heavy containers to be stored without bending. The refrigeration unit is designed for quiet operation, reducing background noise in the kitchen.
The electronic controller regulates the temperature and displays it on a digital screen. A key lock prevents unauthorised access, and the automatic defrost function removes excess moisture without operator intervention.
A 230 V power requirement means the cabinet connects to a standard single-phase circuit found in most professional kitchens. The 0 to 10 °C temperature range is suitable for holding chilled foods, dairy products and pre-prepared dishes that must stay above freezing. The 775 mm width, 695 mm depth and 1900 mm height define the footprint, allowing the unit to fit through standard doorways and align with worktop heights. The gross volume of 600 litres and net capacity of 476 litres indicate the total space available for storage, with the difference accounting for the refrigeration system and insulation.
Cleaning involves wiping the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, removing shelves to wash them separately, and occasionally vacuuming the condenser coil at the rear to maintain cooling efficiency. The powder-coated finish resists stains and scratches, so no special polish is needed.
The standard model includes three full-width shelves measuring 652x530 mm and one half-width shelf 652x211 mm. An additional shelf, article L880645, can be ordered to increase storage flexibility.
The cabinet is categorised under refrigeration equipment for professional kitchens, designed for back-of-house storage and holding.
