A refrigerated display counter keeps chilled food visible and accessible while maintaining a steady low temperature. A compressor circulates refrigerant through coils behind the cabinet, pulling heat out of the interior. Forced air then spreads the cold evenly across every shelf, so each item stays within the safe zone without freezing. The glass front lets customers see the products without opening the door, reducing temperature swings and energy use.

The operator loads the shelves from the rear or top, depending on the model's access. The electronic controller is set to the desired temperature between +2 °C and +8 °C, and the unit runs continuously, defrosting automatically when frost builds up on the coils. A key lock secures the settings against accidental changes. The silent cooling unit keeps noise to a minimum, suitable for front-of-house areas.

The cabinet is built from white powder-coated steel sheet, which resists scratches and corrosion. Four shelves are provided: three full-width shelves measuring 502 mm by 440 mm, and one narrower shelf at 502 mm by 201 mm. The footprint of 600 mm by 600 mm fits standard worktop depths, while the height of 1850 mm allows placement under most overhead cupboards or lighting.

A 230 V power supply is required, matching the standard single-phase circuit found in professional kitchens. The 0.13 kW power rating indicates a modest electrical load, keeping running costs low. The 258 litre volume provides ample space for chilled desserts, pre-packaged meals or bottled drinks without crowding.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior and shelves with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying to prevent moisture build-up. The powder-coated exterior can be cleaned with the same solution. The automatic defrost cycle eliminates the need for manual defrosting, but the drain tray should be checked periodically to ensure it remains clear.
