A display refrigerator maintains chilled goods in clear view while ensuring safe storage temperatures. A compressor circulates refrigerant through coils, removing heat from the interior and releasing it externally. Cooled air is then evenly distributed by a fan, guaranteeing consistent temperatures across all shelves. This approach eliminates warm spots, keeping perishable items like beverages, dairy, and prepared foods at a steady chill.

The DC389WD is front-loaded. The operator unlocks the door, adjusts the five wire shelves to preferred heights, and arranges products for optimal visibility. Two vertical LED strips illuminate the contents, enhancing colours and labels. The mechanical thermostat is set between +1 °C and +9 °C, tailored to the stored items. Once the door is closed and locked, the refrigeration cycle operates automatically, maintaining the set temperature while the fan circulates air across every shelf.

The cabinet features white-coated steel both inside and out, offering a bright and clean appearance. Five white wire shelves support the load and promote airflow around products. The reversible door can open left or right to fit the shop layout and includes a lock for security. Four castors, two with brakes, allow the unit to be moved into position and secured. Plain side panels are ready for custom branding or signage.

A 274 litre capacity provides ample space for a variety of packages. The 600 mm width fits through standard doorways and aligns with typical shop shelving. At 67 kg, the refrigerator can be moved by two people without lifting equipment. The 220-240 V, 50 Hz power supply matches the UK standard single-phase circuit, requiring no special wiring. The unit uses a 70 g charge of R600a refrigerant, complying with current regulations.

Cleaning is straightforward due to the design. Wire shelves lift out for washing in warm water with mild detergent. The white interior and exterior wipe clean with a damp cloth. The sealed LED lights need only occasional dusting. Castors should be checked periodically to ensure the brakes hold securely.

The DC389WD is a single-door model in white. Side panels can be customised with graphics or branding to reflect the shop's identity.
