Purity C150 replaceable water filter effectively reduces water hardness, prevents limescale build-up and improves water taste. Suitable for professional kitchen and coffee equipment.
A replaceable water filter that removes limescale, chlorine and impurities from mains water to protect equipment and improve taste.
Water filtration in professional kitchens relies on a cartridge that traps dissolved minerals and contaminants as water passes through a dense medium. The filter binds calcium and magnesium ions responsible for limescale, preventing them from forming deposits inside kettles, combi ovens and coffee machines. It also captures heavy metals such as lead and copper, along with organic particles that cloud the water or alter its flavour. Chlorine, used to disinfect municipal supplies, is removed at the same stage, leaving the water clear and neutral in taste.
The operator installs the filter by screwing it into the housing of a compatible water filtration system. Once fitted, mains water flows through the cartridge under line pressure. The filter continues to work until its capacity is reached, after which it is unscrewed and replaced with a new unit. No additional power or adjustment is required; the process is driven by the water pressure already present in the supply.
The Purity C150 is constructed as a single cylindrical cartridge with a plastic casing and internal filtration media. The casing is designed to fit standard filtration housings used in commercial water systems.
The filter is controlled solely by the flow of water; there are no user-adjustable settings. The only indication of performance is the clarity and taste of the filtered water, which remains consistent until the cartridge approaches the end of its capacity.
A capacity of 2086 litres means the filter can treat a substantial volume of water before replacement is needed. In a busy kitchen, this reduces the frequency of cartridge changes and the associated downtime. The dimensions of 117 mm width, 108 mm depth and 421 mm height determine the space required inside the filtration housing and the clearance needed around it for installation and removal.
Cleaning is limited to replacing the cartridge once the stated capacity is reached. No maintenance of the filter itself is required during its service life.
The Purity C150 is a single variant designed for use in Stalgast water filtration systems and compatible third-party units that accept the same cartridge size and thread.
This filter is listed in the catalogue under water treatment and filtration equipment for professional catering kitchens.
