A leaf tip is the replaceable cutting edge that shapes and portions dough in a commercial divider. The machine pushes dough through a chamber and against a rotating drum fitted with these tips; each tip slices the dough into a measured piece while sealing the cut to prevent sticking. The D-1 mm profile is a standardised contour that matches the drum's curvature and ensures consistent weight and shape across every portion, batch after batch.
To use the leaf tip, the operator first stops the divider and isolates it from power. The drum is removed and the worn tip is unclipped from its slot. The new Stalgast tip is aligned with the retaining groove, pressed into place, and secured with the spring clip. Once the drum is reinstalled and the machine restarted, the tip slices the dough cleanly without tearing, reducing waste and manual finishing.
The leaf tip is machined from hardened stainless steel, 8 mm in diameter and ground to the D-1 mm profile. This material resists corrosion from dough acids and cleaning chemicals, and the precise profile maintains the divider's calibrated portioning without adjustment.
The 8 mm diameter matches the mounting slot on compatible dough dividers, while the D-1 mm contour ensures the correct dough weight and shape for the programmed portion size.
Cleaning is limited to routine washing of the drum assembly. The leaf tip itself requires no additional maintenance beyond inspection for wear and replacement when the cutting edge becomes rounded or nicked.
This is a spare part; it fits Stalgast dough dividers that specify the D-1 mm leaf-tip profile.
