A pipe spring socket maintains a tight, flexible connection between rigid coffee-machine pipes and the flexible hoses that carry water, steam or milk. The coiled spring inside the socket compresses slightly as the hose is pushed on, then expands to grip the hose barb securely. This prevents leaks under pressure and allows the hose to pivot without kinking or pulling free, even when the machine is moved for cleaning or repositioned during service.
To fit the socket, the operator slides the hose onto the barb until it bottoms out, then pushes the socket over the hose end. The spring's coils bite into the hose wall, locking it in place. No tools are required; the connection is made by hand and can be released by pulling the socket back. The socket remains on the hose when the hose is disconnected from the machine, so it is always ready for the next re-fit.
The socket is a single-piece unit formed from a continuous coil of spring steel. The steel is plated to resist corrosion from water, steam and cleaning chemicals, ensuring the grip remains consistent over repeated use. The compact size allows it to be used in confined spaces behind the machine where rigid fittings would be difficult to install or remove.
This LF pipe spring socket is a direct replacement for the original part on the listed models of COFFEE QUEEN, CREM and EXPOBAR commercial coffee machines. It fits the same hose barbs and pipe outlets as the factory-installed socket, so no modification to the machine or hose is needed.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the exterior with a damp cloth to remove coffee residue or milk deposits. The spring's plating protects it from moisture, but prolonged soaking should be avoided to prevent corrosion of the steel beneath.
