For a dishwasher 803036
A sliding sleeve keeps the lower washing arm of a commercial dishwasher rotating smoothly on its spindle. Without it, the arm would bind or wobble, leaving some dishes unwashed while others receive too much spray. The sleeve acts as a low-friction bearing: it carries the weight of the arm and the water inside it, yet allows the arm to turn freely under water pressure. Over time, the sleeve wears and must be replaced to restore even coverage and prevent damage to the arm or the machine frame.
To fit the sleeve, the operator first isolates the machine from the power and water supply. The lower rack is removed, then the washing arm is lifted off its spindle. The old sleeve is slid off the arm hub and the new one is pressed into place until it seats fully. The arm is returned to the spindle, the rack is replaced, and the machine is reconnected and tested. The entire sequence takes only a few minutes and requires no tools beyond those normally found in a kitchen.
This sleeve is manufactured to the exact length of 31.6 mm, ensuring it fits the hub of Stalgast lower washing arms without play or binding. It is a direct replacement for the original part and maintains the same low-friction properties, allowing the arm to rotate at the speed the dishwasher programme expects.
Regular inspection of the sleeve is part of routine dishwasher maintenance. If the arm begins to turn unevenly or the machine reports a spray error, the sleeve is one of the first components to check. Replacing it promptly prevents water waste and ensures every dish emerges clean and dry.
