This steriliser employs ultraviolet light to disrupt the DNA of microorganisms, preventing reproduction without heat, chemicals, or steam. The method ensures residue-free disinfection, preserving the condition of blades and tools while minimising cross-contamination risks in busy kitchens.

The unit accommodates up to seventeen knives measuring 320 mm in length or thirty eggs per cycle. Once the drawer is closed, the sterilisation process lasts 150 seconds before the lamp switches off automatically. Opening the drawer mid-cycle halts the lamp immediately, safeguarding users from UV exposure.

Inside, a chrome steel grille keeps items separated, allowing ultraviolet light to reach all surfaces. The grille is removable for easy cleaning and slots back into place within the drawer.

With a power rating of 0.77 kW, the steriliser connects to a standard electrical supply. Its compact dimensions—530 mm wide, 360 mm deep, and 245 mm high—enable flexible placement on worktops or shelves.

Maintenance involves wiping the grille and interior surfaces with a damp cloth after each use. The drawer can be detached for thorough cleaning, though the lamp should never be handled or sprayed directly.
