A pizza spatula lifts, turns and serves pizzas directly from the stone or deck without tearing the base or losing toppings. The angled blade slides under the pizza at a shallow angle, letting the operator raise the whole disc in one motion. This design keeps the pizza level and prevents toppings from sliding off during transfer to the serving board or cutting wheel.

The operator holds the spatula by its dual-plastic handle: a rigid red section for control and a soft green section that cushions the palm. This combination reduces hand strain during long service periods, allowing the user to manoeuvre the pizza with precision even when the blade is fully loaded.

To use the spatula, the operator slides the angled blade beneath the pizza edge, lifts slightly to break any adhesion, then draws the pizza onto the blade in a single smooth motion. The 200 mm working blade provides enough support for most commercial pizza sizes, while the 260 mm overall length gives the leverage needed to lift and turn without tilting the pizza forward.

The blade is made of chrome-molybdenum steel hardened to 54–56 HRC, resisting bending and wear under repeated heat cycles. The handle is moulded from two plastics: a rigid red core for structural strength and a soft green overmould for grip.

The spatula's 260 mm overall length and 80 mm blade width suit it to standard pizza stones and deck ovens. The chrome-molybdenum steel construction allows it to withstand the temperatures of a working pizza oven without warping or losing its edge.

Cleaning follows from the materials: the blade and handle are dishwasher-safe and can be thermally disinfected, meeting the hygiene requirements of professional kitchens.
