CUBE II ice cream showcase. Temperature mode -20ºC/-16ºC
An ice-cream showcase keeps frozen product at serving consistency while displaying it through clear glass. A refrigeration circuit circulates cold air across the containers, preventing ice crystals from forming on the surface and keeping the texture smooth. The air is driven by a fan, which spreads the cold evenly so every container stays at the same temperature. Because the glass is insulated, the cold stays inside and the room stays comfortable for customers and staff.
The operator loads up to ten 5 L containers of ice cream into the well. The hinged front glass opens for easy access, and the wheel set lets the unit be moved into place before filling. Once the containers are in, the showcase is switched on and the temperature is set between -20 °C and -16 °C. LED lighting illuminates the product without adding heat, so the ice cream stays firm. Automatic defrosting melts any frost that forms on the evaporator, and the water is evaporated away without manual intervention.
The showcase is built with a double layer of tempered glass for strength and insulation. Ventilation cooling keeps the refrigeration circuit running efficiently, and the refrigerant used is R290, which is suitable for professional kitchens. The exterior is finished in stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning.
Controls include a thermostat to set the temperature within the stated range and a switch to turn the LED lighting on or off. The 230 V, 50 Hz power requirement means the unit plugs into a standard single-phase circuit found in most commercial premises. The 1.1 kW power rating indicates the load it places on the supply, which is typical for a refrigerated display of this size.
The 295 kg weight shows the unit is designed to stay in place once positioned, though the wheel set allows it to be moved when empty. The footprint of 1455 mm by 933 mm fits into most shop counters or worktops, leaving space for customers to view the product from the front.
Cleaning involves wiping the glass and stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The automatic defrost and evaporation system reduces the need for manual defrosting, but the evaporator should be checked periodically for dust build-up. The LED lighting does not generate heat, so it does not affect the cooling performance or require special maintenance.
The CUBE II 1500 is a single model with no variants. It is placed in the refrigerated display section of the professional catering catalogue.
