Hot showcase Carmella 1345 mm. Temperature range +40 / +90°C
A hot confectionery showcase keeps delicate pastries, cakes and desserts at serving temperature while displaying them under bright, even lighting. The unit uses forced-air heating to circulate warm air around the interior, preventing cold spots and ensuring every item stays at the set point without drying out. A thermostat maintains the chosen temperature, allowing the operator to hold products safely for hours without over-baking or losing texture. To use the showcase, the operator loads the highlighted glass shelves from the front or side, arranging items so air can flow freely between them. The sliding double-glazed rear doors open smoothly, giving full access to the interior without taking up floor space. Once loaded, the temperature is set on the control panel and the unit is switched on. The LED lighting illuminates the contents, drawing attention to colours and details while keeping heat output low. The operator monitors the display through the large front and side glasses, which are double-glazed to reduce heat loss and condensation. The showcase is built on a powder-coated steel frame with a wooden casing that adds warmth to the design. Glass shelves are fixed in place and highlighted to enhance visibility. The exterior finish is available in golden, silver or black, with matching serigraphy on the glass corners. The sturdy feet keep the glass display perfectly aligned with the countertop so pastries stay visible and secure during service. The temperature range of +40 to +90 °C allows the showcase to hold everything from warm croissants to hot desserts like crème brûlée. A weight of 200 kg means the unit is moved with a pallet truck or trolley, not carried by hand. The footprint of 1345 by 850 mm fits against a wall or counter, leaving space for customers to view the display without crowding the work area. Cleaning involves wiping the glass with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasives that could scratch the serigraphy. The interior is cleaned after each service to remove crumbs and spills, ensuring the heating system remains efficient. Shelves are lifted out if the design allows, or cleaned in place with a soft brush and sanitiser. This model is the hot version (GR) of the Carmella range. The same showcase is also available in refrigerated (CH) and neutral (NE) versions, each with the same dimensions and finishes but different temperature controls and insulation.
