A hot granite surface maintains food at serving temperature without drying or scorching. The dense stone slab absorbs heat from electric elements beneath and radiates it evenly across the entire worktop. This steady, low-gradient warmth keeps sauces, meats and vegetables ready for plating while preventing hot spots that can overcook or burn.
The operator places up to four GN1/1 gastronorm trays directly on the granite slab. A thermostat dial sets the desired temperature between +30 °C and +85 °C; the unit then cycles the elements to hold that level. Once the slab has reached temperature, the trays remain warm for extended service without further adjustment.
The granite slab is mounted on a stainless-steel frame with adjustable feet, allowing the worktop height to be set between 20 mm and 270 mm. The frame measures 1480 mm long and 620 mm wide, giving a footprint that fits standard kitchen runs while leaving space for adjacent equipment.
Controls consist of a single rotary knob that selects the temperature. An indicator light confirms power is on and the elements are active.
The 3.2 kW power rating requires a dedicated 230 V single-phase circuit, the standard supply for most professional kitchens. The adjustable temperature range allows the surface to be used for gentle warming at +30 °C or for holding hot foods at +85 °C, covering the needs of buffet service, carvery stations and pass-through counters.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the granite slab with a damp cloth once it has cooled. The stainless-steel frame can be cleaned with mild detergent and water, avoiding abrasive pads that could scratch the surface.
The unit is supplied as a single model without variants.
