Temperature mode +30/+90 SERVE OVER
This heated display case maintains prepared dishes at serving temperature while showcasing them through curved front glass. The Kentucky HOT 4GN employs forced convection, where an axial fan circulates air across a heating element, distributing warmth uniformly throughout the chamber. A water reservoir beneath the fan introduces controlled humidity, helping to preserve food moisture during service.
To use, fill the water reservoir, arrange dishes on the shelves, and adjust the mechanical thermostat on the rear panel to the required temperature between 30 °C and 90 °C. The system automatically maintains the set level. A fluorescent bulb above the shelves ensures clear visibility of the contents, highlighting colours and textures for customers. The curved front glass is designed for easy replacement without tools.
Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the unit includes both exterior and interior surfaces, along with a removable grid. Two shelf sizes are available: 1280 mm by 400 mm and 1280 mm by 340 mm, both adjustable in height. The case measures 1410 mm wide, 775 mm deep, and 745 mm high, with a weight of 110 kg, requiring careful handling during movement.
With a power rating of 3.26 kW, the case must be connected to a suitable electrical circuit. The temperature range of 30 °C to 90 °C accommodates a variety of hot dishes, from sauces to roasted meats. The 110 kg weight reflects its sturdy build and the necessity for a stable surface.
For cleaning, remove the shelves and grid, wipe down the interior and exterior with a damp cloth, and empty the water reservoir daily to avoid mineral accumulation. The fluorescent bulb can be replaced from the front once the glass is removed.
