A heating element converts electrical energy into heat inside a commercial coffee machine. The element sits submerged in the water tank or boiler, where its coiled resistance wire warms the water to brewing temperature. A fuse is built into the element to break the circuit if the current rises above a safe level, protecting the machine from overheating or electrical faults.
To replace the element, the operator first disconnects the machine from the power supply. The water tank or boiler is drained, then the old element is unscrewed from its mounting. The new element is fitted in the same position, ensuring the seal is intact to prevent leaks. Once the tank is refilled and the machine reconnected, the element begins heating the water as soon as power is restored.
The element is constructed with a resistance wire encased in a protective sheath, designed to withstand repeated heating cycles. It operates on a 230 V supply, matching the standard voltage for commercial kitchen equipment in the UK. The 2500 W rating indicates the load it places on the circuit, requiring a dedicated socket or connection to avoid tripping breakers during peak demand.
This element fits a range of COFFEE QUEEN, CREM and EXPOBAR coffee machines, including models CARAT, G-10, G-10-AUTOEXPULSORA, MARKUS-OLD, MEGACREM, MONROC, MONROC-OLD, NEW-ELEGANCE, Onyx-MINI, Onyx-MINI+, ROSETTA and ZIRCON.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the exterior of the element with a damp cloth once it has cooled. No disassembly or immersion is required, as the internal components are sealed against moisture.
The product is listed under spare parts for commercial coffee equipment.
