Professional kitchens handling allergenic ingredients rely on sealed containers that physically block cross-contamination. These ARAVEN GN 1/6 containers use an airtight seal to isolate food from airborne particles, surface residues and accidental contact with other items in the fridge or store cupboard. The seal also locks in moisture and flavour, extending the safe shelf life of prepared dishes without chemical preservatives.

The container is loaded with the allergen-marked food, the lid pressed down until the rim clicks into the groove, and the permanent label filled in with the specific allergen. Once sealed, the container can be stacked or slid alongside non-allergenic stock without risk of transfer. When the food is needed, the lid is unclipped and the contents removed with utensils that have not touched other ingredients.

Made from anti-allergic polypropylene, the container resists staining and odour absorption, so repeated use does not carry over traces of previous contents. The material is rigid enough to protect food from crushing yet light enough to move easily between worktop, fridge and service counter.

A permanent label area on the lid is designed for clear, durable marking of the allergen present. The label is visible from above, allowing staff to identify the contents without opening the container or disturbing the seal.

The 2.6 litre volume holds a single GN 1/6 gastronorm portion, fitting standardised racks and trolleys in professional kitchens. The 176 mm by 162 mm footprint matches the GN 1/6 tray size, so the container slides into existing storage without wasted space. The 150 mm height allows stacking under most worktop shelves and inside standard refrigeration units.

Cleaning follows the same routine as other polypropylene containers: hand wash or machine wash at temperatures that do not warp the plastic, then air-dry before re-use. The label area can be wiped clean and re-marked as needed.
