A mobile storage and transport unit built to hold gastronorm trays in standard GN1/1 size. The trolley keeps trays organised upright, preventing spills and speeding access during service.

Trolleys of this type rely on vertical shelving spaced to match the tray depth. Each shelf supports one tray, so the number of shelves equals the tray capacity. The frame is rigid and the wheels swivel for manoeuvrability, allowing the unit to be rolled between prep areas, ovens and plating stations without lifting trays individually.

To use the trolley, slide each GN1/1 tray into its shelf until it rests against the back stop. The trays remain accessible from the front, so ingredients or finished dishes can be added or removed without disturbing other trays. When full, the trolley is pushed to the next workstation, reducing handling time and clutter on worktops.

The construction is a welded frame of steel tubing finished in a durable coating. Shelves are spaced evenly to the stated capacity of fourteen trays. Four swivel castors allow movement in any direction, while brakes on two wheels lock the trolley in place when stationary.

The footprint of 380 mm width and 550 mm depth fits alongside most professional workstations and under standard pass-throughs. The height of 1735 mm maximises vertical storage without exceeding typical kitchen door frames, so the trolley can be moved between rooms without tilting.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the frame and shelves with a damp cloth; the smooth surfaces and open design prevent dirt traps. Regular checks of wheel function and brake tension keep the trolley stable during use.
