A food storage tower organises ingredients in stacked containers while allowing cold air to circulate freely around each one. Instead of trapping air between solid lids, the open structure exposes the sides of the containers to the refrigerated environment. This continuous airflow lowers the temperature of the food faster than a sealed stack, slowing bacterial growth and extending shelf life without extra energy. The same ventilation carries away moisture released by fresh produce, preventing condensation that leads to spoilage and mould.

The operator slides three GN 1/1 containers into the tower's frame, leaving the top of each container uncovered. Cold air from the refrigeration unit flows down the sides and across the food, cooling it evenly. The tower's perforated design creates natural ventilation paths, so no additional lids are needed. This keeps humidity levels stable, particularly for high-water-content foods like leafy greens and berries, which release moisture as they respire.

Constructed from durable plastic, the tower's frame holds the containers securely while maintaining consistent spacing for airflow. The dimensions of 562 mm wide, 372 mm deep and 397 mm high fit standard worktop depths and under-counter refrigeration units. The 39-litre volume provides storage for three full-size gastronorm containers, allowing bulk ingredients to be organised in a compact footprint.

No controls are required; the tower relies on the refrigeration unit's settings to maintain temperature. The open design means the operator can check food condition at a glance without removing lids or disturbing the stack.

Cleaning involves removing the containers and wiping down the frame with a damp cloth. The absence of lids simplifies maintenance, as there are no seals or hinges to scrub. Containers can be washed separately in a commercial dishwasher, ensuring hygiene standards are met without dismantling the tower.

The tower is designed for use with GN 1/1 containers, standardised across professional kitchens for compatibility with refrigeration, transport and preparation equipment.
