An ingredient bin keeps dry goods such as flour, rice, pasta or pulses in a sealed container that protects against dust, moisture and pests. The transparent window lets kitchen staff see the contents at a glance, so stock levels and product types are identified without opening the lid. Wheels fitted to the base allow the bin to be moved across the worktop or floor, reducing manual lifting when restocking or repositioning.

The bin is loaded by lifting the wide lid, pouring in the dry ingredients, then closing the lid to seal the contents. A traceability label on the front records the product name, batch number and date of decanting, meeting HACCP food-safety standards. The smooth interior and rounded corners simplify cleaning, while the lid prevents spills when the bin is tilted or transported.

Constructed from food-grade plastic, the bin is lightweight yet sturdy enough for daily use. The transparent window is set into the front panel, and the lid hinges open to the full width of the container for easy access. Four wheels are mounted beneath the base, two of which swivel for manoeuvrability.

The 16 litre volume provides space for bulk ingredients without taking up excessive worktop area. The footprint of 415 by 340 millimetres fits neatly beneath standard worktops or on shelving units, while the 200 millimetre height allows stacking if required. The wheels enable the bin to be rolled into storage cupboards or under work surfaces when not in use.

Cleaning involves removing the lid, wiping the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then rinsing and drying before reassembly. The traceability label can be wiped clean or replaced as needed to maintain accurate records.
