The ventilation hatch allows air to circulate around fruit and vegetables, letting excess moisture evaporate without forming condensation inside the container. This controlled airflow reduces spoilage and keeps loads stable on the move.

The container works by balancing internal humidity with the surrounding environment. When warm, moist air from the produce rises, the hatch releases it, while cooler, drier air enters to replace it. This natural exchange prevents the build-up of damp that can soften skins, encourage mould or cause odours. The process is passive, requiring no power or manual adjustment, and continues as long as the container is in use.

To use, load the container with prepared fruit or vegetables, ensuring the ventilation hatch remains unobstructed. Stack the containers if needed, as the rigid construction supports multiple units without crushing the contents. Secure the load for transport, then unload at the destination. The hatch can be closed when the container is empty to protect the interior during storage.
