Electric cooker with 4 x 2,25 kW burners with oven 5,3kW
An electric stove that combines a heavy-duty cast-iron hob with a stainless-steel oven beneath a single 700 mm worktop. The hob heats through four independent zones, each controlled separately so that different pans can reach their required temperatures at the same time. Cast iron distributes the heat evenly across its surface, eliminating hot spots that can scorch food or leave other areas undercooked. The oven uses armoured heating elements above and below the cooking chamber; separate thermostats for top and bottom heat let the operator choose between browning, roasting or gentle baking without moving the rack.
To start, the operator selects the desired temperature for each hob zone and for the oven's top and bottom elements. The stove is connected to a 400 V three-phase supply, so it draws its 14.3 kW load across three live conductors, reducing the current on each and allowing a single appliance to power multiple cooking processes simultaneously. Once the settings are made, the hob zones and oven elements cycle on and off to maintain the set temperatures. On the hob, pans are placed directly on the cast-iron surface; in the oven, three GN 2/1 gastronorm racks slide into the stainless-steel chamber, holding trays or containers at even spacing for consistent airflow and heat distribution.
The hob is a single 10 mm-thick cast-iron plate with a usable area of 40 dm², mounted flush with the 1 mm stainless-steel worktop for a seamless surface that is easy to wipe down. The oven chamber is constructed from stainless steel, with an enamelled bottom for durability and a double-wall door that insulates the exterior from the internal heat. The entire unit measures 700 mm wide, 714 mm deep and 850 mm high, with the oven cavity itself at 560 mm wide, 660 mm deep and 310 mm high. At 117 kg, the stove is heavy enough to remain stable on the floor without anchoring, yet compact enough to fit through standard kitchen doorways.
Controls consist of separate thermostats for each of the four hob zones and for the oven's top and bottom elements. The 14.3 kW power rating indicates the total electrical load the stove places on the supply, while the 400 V three-phase connection ensures that the load is balanced across the circuit. The 700 mm width matches standard worktop depths, allowing the stove to integrate into existing kitchen layouts without gaps or overhangs. The 117 kg weight reflects the robust construction needed to support the cast-iron hob and stainless-steel oven chamber, as well as the insulation that keeps the exterior cool to the touch.
Cleaning involves wiping the cast-iron hob after each use to remove food debris and prevent build-up, while the stainless-steel worktop and oven chamber can be scrubbed with non-abrasive cleaners. The oven's enamelled bottom resists staining and is easy to wipe clean, and the double-wall door prevents grease from accumulating on the outer surface. The removable racks can be taken out for thorough cleaning, and the seamless alignment between the hob and worktop prevents food particles from lodging in crevices.
The MAGISTRA PLUS 700 is available in electric and gas versions; this model is the electric variant with a 14.3 kW hob and 5.3 kW oven. It is categorised under professional stoves with integrated ovens.
