A drain pipe carries waste water and residual coffee grounds away from the brew group of a commercial espresso machine. The pipe connects to the outlet beneath the group, where spent pucks and rinse water collect after each extraction. Without a clear run to the waste tray or external drain, the water would pool inside the machine, risking scale build-up, corrosion and overflow onto the worktop.

The operator does not interact with the pipe during normal service; it is fitted once and remains in place. Installation involves sliding the pipe onto the brew-group outlet spigot, securing it with the clip or grommet supplied, and routing the free end into the waste container or drain line. No tools are required beyond ensuring the connection is snug and leak-free.

This LF drain pipe is manufactured to match the outlet geometry of specific Expobar espresso machines. The internal diameter and length are sized so that the pipe clears the machine's chassis and reaches the waste point without kinking or stretching. The material resists the heat and acidity of coffee waste, preventing premature cracking or discolouration.

Cleaning is limited to occasional flushing with warm water to remove any coffee oils that may adhere to the inner wall. No detergents are needed; the smooth bore discourages build-up and allows water to flow freely.
