A refrigerated showcase keeps chilled food visible while maintaining safe temperatures. A compressor circulates refrigerant through an expansion valve, drawing heat from the interior and expelling it outside. Forced cooling with a fan ensures even air distribution, preventing warm spots and keeping every shelf within the set range. Automatic defrosting removes ice build-up without manual intervention, so the unit stays efficient and the display remains clear.
The operator loads the five adjustable shelves with prepared dishes, then sets the temperature between +2 °C and +8 °C. LED lighting above the top illuminates the contents, while night blinds roll down to cover the display when the kitchen closes. The unit runs continuously, circulating chilled air to maintain the chosen temperature.
The construction is powder-coated steel, with double-glazed sides or solid steel panels finished in mirror steel on the interior. Shelves adjust to fit different container heights, and the expansion valve regulates refrigerant flow for consistent cooling.
Controls are minimal: a thermostat sets the temperature, and the automatic defrosting programme runs without user input. Night blinds operate manually or on a timer, depending on the model.
The 3750 mm width provides a 10.2 m² useful surface, allowing large-volume display without crowding. The 560 kg weight requires a stable floor and a dedicated circuit for the compressor. The forced cooling system keeps the entire volume within the +2/+8 °C range, suitable for chilled prepared foods, desserts and beverages.
Cleaning involves wiping the powder-coated steel exterior and mirror steel interior with a damp cloth. Shelves remove for thorough cleaning, and the automatic defrosting cycle reduces ice build-up that would otherwise need manual removal.
Available in three configurations: without doors, with sliding doors or with hinged doors. Each variant fits the same footprint and maintains the same temperature range and lighting.
The product sits in the refrigeration section of the professional catering catalogue, under display and merchandising equipment.
