Temperature range +2 / +6 °C
An impulse cooler circulates chilled air across an open front, drawing heat from the displayed food without a door. A fan coil at the back pulls warm air in, cools it through an evaporator, then blows it gently across the shelves in a steady curtain. This keeps the temperature between +2 °C and +6 °C while the front stays open, so customers can reach the products without breaking the cold chain.
The operator loads the three tempered glass shelves from the front, arranging products so the air curtain can flow evenly across every item. The controller on the back panel sets the target temperature; once it is reached, the cooler cycles the fan and compressor to maintain the range. The perforated Plexiglas back allows the cooled air to circulate while keeping the condenser accessible for maintenance.
Galvanised steel forms the structural frame, finished with Plexiglas sides and back for visibility and hygiene. The 900 mm width and 1.2 m² useful surface provide space for chilled ready-to-eat items, dairy or desserts. At 140 kg, the unit is moved on a trolley or pallet jack, and the 1330 mm height fits under a standard worktop or counter.
Cleaning follows the open construction: shelves lift out for washing, the Plexiglas panels wipe down with a damp cloth, and the condenser coil is brushed or vacuumed through the back access. The R290 refrigerant is low-global-warming and complies with current commercial refrigeration standards.
The SOLO 90 is a single-section impulse cooler without additional variants or accessories in this range.
