A cutlery basket holds knives, forks and spoons in a commercial dishwasher so that water jets reach every surface. The open grid construction allows hot water and detergent to circulate freely, lifting food residue without trapping debris. Each utensil rests in its own space, preventing contact that would block the spray and leave spots or film.

The operator loads the basket by placing cutlery tines-down or bowls-up, depending on the shape. Once filled, the basket slides into the dishwasher rack or directly onto the wash arms, where rotating jets sweep across the grid. After the cycle, the same grid lets air flow through, speeding drying and reducing water marks.

This Stalgast basket is sized to fit standard dishwasher racks, matching the spacing of tines and dividers in most professional machines. The 430 mm length accommodates longer utensils such as serving spoons and carving knives, while the 150 mm height keeps the load stable during the wash and rinse phases.

Cleaning is limited to rinsing under a tap or wiping with a soft cloth; no disassembly is required. The basket is compatible with Stalgast dishwashers and most other commercial brands that accept standard rack inserts.
