A dish rack organises plates, trays and bowls upright so water drains off after washing. The open grid construction lets air circulate between each item, speeding drying and preventing water marks. In a commercial kitchen this method keeps crockery ready for the next service without hand drying.
The operator loads washed items into the slots, ensuring each piece stands clear of its neighbours. Once filled, the rack is placed on a worktop or draining board, or slid directly into a dishwasher rack for the final rinse cycle. After draining, the rack is lifted as a single unit and stored until the next load is ready.
This Stalgast rack is built from stainless steel wire welded into a rigid grid. The feet raise the base above the worktop to allow water to run off without pooling. The 500 mm square footprint matches standard commercial dish racks and shelving, so it stacks neatly with existing equipment.
The 104 mm height provides enough clearance for standard dinner plates while keeping the unit stable on a wet surface. The 25-element capacity allows a full load of crockery to be processed at once, reducing the number of trips between sink and storage.
Cleaning is limited to rinsing under a tap or running through a dishwasher cycle. The open wire construction prevents food debris from collecting, so no scrubbing is required.
