It sits inside a commercial dishwasher or on a worktop beside the sink, holding each piece upright in its own slot. The open construction lets water run off and air circulate, speeding up drying and preventing water marks.

The operator loads the rack by placing each washed item into its designated position. Plates stand on edge in vertical dividers, bowls nest in angled holders, and cutlery slots keep forks, knives and spoons separated. Once loaded, the rack is slid into the dishwasher or left on the worktop to air-dry. After drying, the rack is lifted out and the clean items are transferred directly to cupboards or service stations.

This Stalgast rack is built from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. The 500 mm square footprint matches standard commercial dishwasher baskets and worktop spaces. The 104 mm height keeps the rack stable while allowing it to stack with other racks or trays for compact storage.

Cleaning is straightforward: after use, the rack is rinsed under a tap to remove food debris, then wiped or scrubbed with a non-abrasive pad. Stainless steel resists staining and does not require chemical treatments, so regular washing with detergent is sufficient to maintain hygiene.
