A dish rack organises plates, trays or bowls so they stand upright, spaced apart and clear of the base. Air circulates between each piece, letting water drain and dry without spots or pooling. The rack itself sits inside a commercial dishwasher or on a worktop, keeping items stable during washing and transport. The operator loads nine plates or trays into the vertical slots, one per slot. The rack is then placed inside the dishwasher basket or carried to the wash station. After the cycle finishes, the rack is lifted out and left to drain; the open construction allows air to reach every surface, speeding drying. Once dry, the rack can be moved directly to storage or to the service area without re-handling the crockery. The frame is made of stainless steel, which resists corrosion from water and detergents. The feet are fixed, keeping the rack level on a flat surface. The 500 mm width and depth match standard commercial dishwasher baskets and worktop storage spaces, so the rack slides in without overhang. The 104 mm height keeps the centre of gravity low, preventing tipping when the rack is fully loaded. Cleaning is limited to rinsing the frame under a tap or wiping it with a damp cloth to remove detergent residue. The rack slides into place without tools and stays put while plates and glasses drip dry.
