A glassware rack organises delicate items so they do not touch each other or the dishwasher walls. The rack sits inside the dishwasher basket, creating a grid of individual cells that hold glasses, cups and stemware upright. Water and detergent reach every surface, while the rigid frame prevents movement that can cause chips or cracks.

The operator loads each glass into its own cell, ensuring the base sits flat on the rack floor. Once the rack is full, it slides into the dishwasher basket like any other tray. The dishwasher programme runs as usual, and the rack keeps the items separated throughout the cycle. After washing, the operator removes the rack and unloads the glasses one by one.

The rack is sized to fit 500 mm commercial dishwashers, matching the internal width of the basket. Its square footprint allows it to occupy the full area, maximising capacity without overhang. The height of 100 mm keeps the rack low enough to clear the dishwasher spray arms while still holding standard glassware.

Cleaning is limited to rinsing the rack under a tap after use to remove detergent residue and food particles. The construction requires no lubrication or adjustment.
