Crepe maker Casselin CCHPF

The Casselin CCHPF is a poffertje trolley for preparing and serving Dutch mini-pancakes.

This trolley uses a built-in electric poffertje pan. The pan heats, allowing batter to be poured into the moulds. A poffertje spade is included for removal once cooked. The trolley has a removable tempered protective glass to shield the cooking area and food. For serving, it is equipped with 3 cold sauce holders and 7 porcelain pots.

To use, prepare the poffertje batter. Switch the trolley on using the On/Off switch. Set the electric pan temperature with the adjustable thermostat, ranging from 140 °C to 300 °C. Once hot, pour batter into the moulds. Turn the poffertjes as they cook, then remove with the spade. Place cooked poffertjes in the porcelain pots for serving, with sauces in the cold sauce holders.

Construction is primarily of stainless steel for durability and ease of cleaning. The trolley includes a waste drip tray for spills. The front panel can be customised with LED backlighting. For mobility, it has 4 wheels, two with brakes for stability.

Controls include an On/Off switch and an adjustable thermostat for precise pan temperature. A safety thermostat is also incorporated.

The power rating is 2.7 kW plus 14 W at 230 V. The overall dimensions are 1036 mm by 675 mm by 1150 mm. The weight is 56.5 kg. The cupboard dimensions are 840 mm by 580 mm by 495 mm.

Cleaning involves maintaining the stainless steel surfaces, glass, pan, and emptying the waste drip tray. The porcelain pots are removable for separate cleaning.
