The ADDA COLD GN3 cooling showcase preserves perishable items at a consistent chilled temperature while showcasing them under bright illumination. A refrigeration system removes heat from the display area, circulating cool air evenly across each shelf. Warm air is drawn over an evaporator coil, where refrigerant absorbs the heat before releasing it outside the cabinet. Cooled air is then redistributed, ensuring the set temperature range is maintained without drying food or causing uneven cooling. Automatic defrosting prevents ice build-up, with melted water evaporating automatically, eliminating the need for manual drainage.

Position the unit on a flat, stable surface near a power source. Arrange chilled food on the two shelves, adjusting their height to accommodate taller products. The electronic control unit allows temperature settings between +2 °C and +6 °C, with the system maintaining this range automatically. LED lights above each shelf activate when powered, providing clear visibility without generating additional heat. Customers can serve themselves by lifting the front glass panel, while staff access the interior via the rear door for restocking or cleaning.

Constructed from stainless steel, the showcase ensures durability and hygiene. Two shelves are included: one sized at 1025 mm by 388 mm, the other at 1080 mm by 458 mm, enabling varied product displays. A rear mirror enhances the appearance of the contents, creating a fuller and more attractive presentation. The cooling system uses forced-air ventilation to distribute cold air uniformly, preventing warm spots that could compromise food quality.

The unit has a power rating of 0.42 kW, requiring a suitable electrical connection. With a weight of 107 kg, moving the unit safely requires a trolley or assistance from two people.

The showcase measures 1076 mm in length, 717 mm in width, and 845 mm in height, fitting most worktops while allowing space for other equipment. Cleaning involves wiping stainless steel surfaces with mild detergent, removing shelves for separate washing, and occasionally cleaning the condenser coil to sustain cooling efficiency. LED lights need only occasional dusting for maintenance.

A hot-food version is also available, along with a drop-in model for seamless countertop integration.
