This self-service chilled display case allows customers to view and select ready-to-eat food without assistance. Cold air circulates continuously via a fan, ensuring an even temperature throughout. Warm air flows over the front and side glass to stop condensation, keeping the display clear at all times.

The adjustable shelf holds sandwiches, drinks or pastries. An electronic control unit lets the operator set the temperature between +2 °C and +6 °C. The system manages the compressor and fan automatically, while built-in defrost removes ice from the coil without manual input. Any meltwater evaporates on its own, so the interior remains dry. Fluorescent lighting highlights the contents, enhancing visibility and appeal.

Constructed from stainless steel, the case is both hygienic and durable. The rounded front glass is simple to replace if needed. A single shelf measuring 630 × 400 mm sits 172 mm above the base, providing space for taller items. The unit's overall dimensions are 750 × 726 × 585 mm, making it compact enough for counters or island setups. At 73 kg, it can be moved by two people without special equipment.

With a 0.33 kW power rating, the case connects to a standard plug, avoiding the need for additional wiring in most kitchens.

Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless steel interior and removable glass wipe down easily with sanitiser. The automatic defrost and evaporation systems reduce manual maintenance, and the shelf lifts out for thorough cleaning underneath.

The KENTUCKY COLD 2GN comes in three versions: standard, high (with two shelves) and self-service. This model is the self-service variant, designed for direct customer access.
