Temperature mode +2/+6 SERVE OVER
The UNIS COOL Kentucky Cold 600 chilled display case maintains food at safe serving temperatures while keeping it visible. Cold air circulates evenly across each shelf, removing heat and directing it to an evaporator coil. A fan returns cooled air into the cabinet, ensuring consistent temperatures throughout. Warm air flows over the front and side windows to prevent condensation, allowing clear visibility of the products inside.
The curved front glass opens or slides to allow easy loading of shelves. Once stocked, the electronic control unit is adjusted to maintain temperatures between +2 °C and +6 °C. The unit operates automatically, circulating cold air and monitoring conditions. Automatic defrost cycles remove ice from the evaporator, and the resulting water evaporates without manual intervention. Internal fluorescent lamps illuminate the contents, while warm-air heating keeps the glass clear.
Constructed from stainless steel, the cabinet is durable and simple to clean in food-service settings. The curved front glass is standardised for quick replacement if needed. Inside, a single shelf measuring 515 mm by 426 mm provides space for sandwiches, pastries or bottled drinks. The unit's overall dimensions of 600 mm by 775 mm fit most counters, and its 65 kg weight allows two people to reposition it without equipment.
An electronic control unit manages temperature, defrost cycles and condensate evaporation. The 0.27 kW power rating reflects a modest electrical demand. The temperature range of +2 °C to +6 °C is intended for holding ready-to-eat food, not for freezing.
Cleaning involves wiping stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The curved front glass can be removed for deeper cleaning, and the shelf lifts out to access the interior. The forced-air system eliminates manual defrosting, and automatic condensate evaporation removes the need for a drain.
The Kentucky Cold 600 is offered in standard, high and self-service configurations. The standard version includes one shelf as described.
