A refrigerated display case keeps confectionery and chilled goods visible while holding them at a set temperature. The Ohio II uses static cooling: an evaporator mounted in the upper part of the cabinet circulates cold air downward, creating an even chill without forced fans. This method reduces energy use and noise, and it prevents the dry air that can dehydrate pastries or delicate desserts. Double-glazed front and side panels insulate the interior, cutting heat gain and condensation so the compressor runs less often and lasts longer.
To load the case, slide the rear door open and place products on the two adjustable shelves. Set the electronic control unit to the desired temperature between +2 °C and +12 °C; the system maintains that range automatically and defrosts on a timer to keep the evaporator clear. Customers serve themselves through the curved front glass, which is made of toughened safety glass for durability and visibility.
The cabinet is built from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning in a busy retail environment. An integrated refrigeration unit is positioned on the left side, leaving the right side free for adjacent equipment or workflow. The footprint of 1210 mm width by 630 mm depth fits standard worktop depths and allows placement against a wall or island counter. At 70 kg, the case is light enough to move with a trolley but stable once positioned.
Cleaning follows from the construction: wipe the stainless steel exterior and interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasives that could scratch the finish. The shelves lift out for thorough cleaning, and the rear sliding door can be removed if needed. The double-glazed panels should be cleaned with glass cleaner to maintain clarity, but avoid spraying directly onto the seals to prevent moisture ingress.
The Ohio II is available in left or right refrigeration-unit configurations. A standard accessory kit is required for installation and is ordered separately. The self-service design includes no additional service counter or utensils, keeping the focus on product display.
