A cotton candy machine spins molten sugar into fine threads that gather into fluffy servings on demand. The Smarty 350 heats granulated sugar in a circular aluminium basin until it melts into a thin liquid. A high-speed motor at the centre of the basin drives a spinning head that flings the liquid outward through small perforations. As the sugar hits the cooler air inside the protective dome, it solidifies into delicate filaments that wrap around a paper cone or stick held by the operator.
To begin, the operator fills the polypropylene food-safe bowl with the required amount of sugar, then switches the machine on. The basin heats up, melting the sugar evenly. Once the temperature is reached, the operator steps on the electronic foot switch to start the spinning head. Sugar threads form almost instantly and can be collected by moving the cone around the inside edge of the dome. Each 60-second cycle yields one to three portions, allowing quick service during events or peak trading hours.
The Smarty 350 is built with a sturdy aluminium basin that conducts heat efficiently and resists corrosion. A clear plexiglass dome encloses the spinning area, protecting both the operator and the public from splashes while still allowing full visibility of the process. The electronic foot switch frees the operator's hands, making it easier to manage cones and serve customers without interrupting the spinning cycle.
Measuring 350 mm deep, 420 mm wide and 420 mm high, the unit fits neatly on a standard worktop or mobile trolley. Its power range of 1.00 to 1.90 kW matches a single-phase 230 V supply commonly found in professional kitchens and event venues. The polypropylene food container included in the set is designed for safe, hygienic sugar storage before and during use.
Cleaning involves wiping the aluminium basin and plexiglass dome after each session to remove residual sugar. The spinning head and perforations should be checked regularly to ensure they remain free of hardened sugar build-up, which can affect performance. The electronic foot switch is kept dry and stored away from the basin to prevent damage.
The Smarty 350 is supplied as a single-tank model with all standard accessories: aluminium basin, plexiglass protective dome and electronic foot switch.
