Electric convection oven with digital control panel. 4 trays 600 x 400 mm
A convection oven circulates hot air around food with a fan, spreading heat evenly and cutting cooking times compared to static ovens. The fan draws air over heating elements, then pushes it through the chamber, so every tray receives the same temperature without rotating. This method browns pastries, roasts meats and bakes bread uniformly, while the moving air also carries away moisture, giving a crisp crust on baked goods and a dry surface on roasted items.
The EKF 464 N T is loaded through a front door. The operator slides four 600 by 400 mm trays into the guides, sets the desired temperature between 30 and 260 °C, and selects one of 99 stored programmes. Each programme can divide the cycle into four stages, allowing a single run to defrost, bake, hold and finish a dish automatically. Manual steam humidification is added by pressing a button during the cycle, introducing moisture that keeps roasts juicy and helps bread rise.
The interior chamber is constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. An electronic control panel on the front displays the current programme, temperature and time, and allows the operator to adjust settings mid-cycle if needed.
The 3.4 kW power rating means the oven draws a steady load that requires its own dedicated circuit in a commercial kitchen. The 220/230 V voltage matches the standard single-phase supply used in British catering establishments. The 50.6 kg weight indicates the unit is designed to stand on a worktop or a sturdy shelf, and is moved with a trolley or two people. The 784 by 754 by 634 mm footprint fits into a space roughly the size of a domestic fridge-freezer, making it suitable for compact kitchens.
Cleaning involves removing the trays and wiping the stainless-steel chamber with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The fan and heating elements are accessed by removing a rear panel, which should be done by a qualified technician to maintain safety and performance.
The EKF 464 N T is part of the EVOLUTION SNACK series, positioned for snack production, café kitchens and small to medium catering operations that require consistent results across multiple trays without manual intervention.
