Electric convection oven with digital control panel. 4 trays 1/1 GN
This convection oven uses a fan to circulate hot air evenly around food, ensuring consistent cooking and retaining moisture. Heat is distributed across every shelf simultaneously, eliminating cold spots and allowing multiple trays to cook at once without rotation.
The EKF 411 N T accommodates four GN 1/1 gastronorm trays on wire racks. Users select a temperature between 30 °C and 260 °C, pick from 99 pre-set programs, or configure a custom cycle split into four stages. Manual steam humidification can be introduced during cooking to maintain moisture in roasts or crispness in pastries. The electronic panel shows real-time readings for time, temperature, and humidity, with an alert sounding at the end of the cycle.
The oven's interior and exterior are made from AISI 304 stainless steel, offering durability and easy cleaning. The door includes a heat-resistant glass window, and the unit holds an IPX3 protection rating, safeguarding it against splashes from any angle.
Controls feature a rotary knob for program selection and a digital display with touch-sensitive buttons for adjusting time, temperature, and humidity. Each program supports up to four stages, enabling complex recipes like proofing, baking, and holding to run automatically after a single start command.
With a 3.4 kW power rating, the oven requires a dedicated electrical circuit. It operates on a 220/230 V supply, standard in most UK commercial kitchens. The 50.6 kg weight necessitates moving the unit with a trolley or two people, while its 784 × 754 × 634 mm dimensions determine the space it occupies.
Maintenance involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each use. Wire racks and GN trays are removable for separate cleaning. The fan and heating element can be accessed by removing the rear panel, which should be checked weekly to clear grease or debris affecting airflow.
Designed for medium-volume cooking, the EKF 411 N T suits cafés, bakeries, and small restaurants.
