Electric convection oven with manual control. 4 trays 1/1 GN
The Tecnoeka EKF 411 N convection oven uses a fan to distribute hot air evenly across all trays, eliminating cold spots and speeding up cooking.
It accommodates four GN 1/1 gastronorm trays on fixed runners. Operators adjust time, temperature, and humidity via the electromechanical panel before loading trays and starting the cycle. A manual steam function adds moisture to prevent drying, particularly useful for bread, pastries, and roasted meats. The oven operates between 100 °C and 260 °C, suitable for gentle warming or high-heat cooking. After the heating cycle ends, the fan continues running to utilise residual heat for consistent results.
Constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, the chamber resists corrosion and simplifies cleaning. The exterior panels match the finish of professional kitchen worktops. The door features a durable gasket and hinges positioned to avoid obstructing kitchen traffic.
Controls are located on the right-hand side, including a timer, temperature dial, humidity dial, and steam button. The timer counts down and alerts when the cycle completes. The temperature dial adjusts heat levels, while the humidity dial controls steam release. The steam button provides an immediate burst of moisture for specific dishes.
With a power rating of 3.4 kW, the oven requires a dedicated electrical supply. It operates on a 220/230 V single-phase connection, standard in British commercial kitchens. Weighing 50.4 kg, it is best moved by two people. Its dimensions of 784 mm wide by 754 mm deep allow it to fit on a standard worktop or under a counter.
After each service, the chamber and trays should be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The fan guard is removed weekly for cleaning to prevent grease accumulation. The door gasket should be inspected monthly for wear and replaced if necessary. The steam generator requires descaling every three months using a citric-acid solution to maintain performance.
Part of the EVOLUTION SNACK series, this model is designed for catering and retail kitchens requiring consistent results. Its IPX3 rating ensures protection against water spray, making it safe for placement near sinks or dishwashers.
