A regeneration oven restores chilled or frozen pre-cooked meals to serving temperature without drying or overcooking. Hot air circulates evenly around each tray, transferring heat quickly and uniformly. The closed chamber traps steam released from the food, keeping moisture in and preventing the surface from hardening. This method preserves texture and flavour better than a microwave or conventional oven, making it the standard for bulk reheating in professional kitchens.

The FM Industrial RG 1011 A holds ten GN 1/1 gastronorm trays, each spaced 65 mm apart. Trays slide in on runners, so the operator loads them one by one without touching the hot interior. Once the door is closed, the oven ramps to the set temperature—up to 160 °C—and maintains it until the cycle ends. A timer or core-probe can be added to stop the process automatically when the food reaches the target temperature, avoiding overheating.

Loading is straightforward: place the chilled meals on GN 1/1 trays, insert the trays into the runners, close the door, select the temperature and start the cycle. The oven does the rest, circulating air continuously. When the timer sounds or the probe signals, the operator removes the trays and transfers the meals directly to hot-holding or plating.

The interior chamber measures 594 mm wide, 380 mm deep and 710 mm high, giving a clear footprint for tray placement. The exterior dimensions are 735 mm wide, 685 mm deep and 990 mm high, so the unit fits against a worktop or under a standard 1 m shelf. The 78 kg weight means two people can move it with a sack truck, and the adjustable feet level it on uneven floors.

Power comes from a 400 V three-phase supply with neutral and earth, drawing 10.3 kW. This rating matches the circuit used for most professional cooking equipment, so no special wiring is needed in a commercial kitchen. The temperature range of 140–160 °C covers the reheating of sauces, meats, vegetables and baked items without risking scorching or under-heating.

The oven is built with a stainless-steel exterior and interior, so it withstands daily cleaning with hot water and detergent. The door seal is silicone, which can be wiped down or replaced when worn. The runners are fixed, so they do not collect debris and are easy to keep clean. No grease filters or condensate trays are fitted, as the oven does not produce smoke or excess moisture during regeneration.

The RG 1011 A is a single-chamber unit with no variants. It accepts standard GN 1/1 trays and lids, so it integrates with the rest of the kitchen's gastronorm equipment.

Catalogue placement: professional kitchen regeneration equipment, bulk reheating section.
