A refrigerated display case built for self-service keeps delicate pastries, cakes and confections at a steady chill while customers help themselves. Inside the unit, a quiet fan circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing warm spots and condensation that can spoil texture or appearance. The cooling system uses a blend of modern refrigerants that remove heat efficiently without harming the environment, and an electronic control unit maintains the set temperature within a narrow band, ensuring consistent freshness from opening to closing time.

To load the showcase, staff slide open the rear door and arrange the day's selection on the tempered-glass shelves. The hinged front glass panel then swings up for final adjustments or cleaning. Once the unit is switched on, the LED lighting illuminates the display area, highlighting colours and details without adding heat. An automatic defrost cycle runs at intervals, melting any ice that forms on the evaporator coils and draining the water away so the system stays efficient and frost-free.

The case is constructed from double outer tempered glass that insulates while offering a clear view from every angle. Shelves are also made of tempered glass, supporting the weight of trays and platters without sagging. A rear sliding door and a hinged front panel allow quick access for restocking and cleaning, while the ventilation system keeps the interior climate stable even when the front is opened frequently.

The 230 V, 50 Hz supply matches standard UK commercial circuits, and the 0.711 kW power rating indicates a modest load that can share a ring with other counter equipment. At 264 kg the unit is heavy enough to stay stable on the floor but can still be moved with a pallet truck or sack trolley. The footprint of 1490 × 735 mm fits neatly along a worktop or against a wall, leaving space for customer flow in front.

Cleaning is straightforward: the hinged front glass lifts out of the way, shelves can be removed, and the automatic evaporation system handles condensate without manual intervention. The electronic control keeps defrost cycles timed so staff only need to wipe surfaces and check the drain pan periodically.

The CUBE II 1500 Grab n Go is a single model in the UNIS COOL patisserie showcase range, designed for self-service environments such as bakeries, cafés and convenience stores.
