Confectionery showcase Lumina 1380 mm
A refrigerated confectionery showcase maintains a precise, chilled environment just above freezing, slowing the staling of delicate pastries, creams and chocolates without freezing them. The unit circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, keeping each item at the same temperature and humidity. This steady climate preserves texture, colour and flavour while allowing customers to view the products through clear glass without opening the cabinet and disturbing the internal balance.
The operator loads the adjustable glass shelves from the rear, arranging confections so they are visible from the front. Once the shelves are stocked, the unit is switched on and the temperature set within the +6 to +12 °C range. The refrigeration system, charged with R290 refrigerant, cycles automatically to hold the chosen temperature. The internal lighting highlights the products, drawing attention to their presentation while the chilled air continues to circulate.
The showcase is built with a stainless-steel interior and exterior framework, providing a hygienic, corrosion-resistant surface that withstands daily cleaning. The casing is constructed from chipboard, offering a sturdy base for the structure. Adjustable glass shelves allow flexibility in displaying items of varying heights, while the stainless-steel exposition area ensures durability and ease of maintenance.
Controls are simple and direct: a thermostat sets the temperature between +6 and +12 °C, and an internal light switch activates the illumination. The 1380 mm width provides ample display space for a variety of confectionery items, while the 825 mm depth allows for multiple rows of products without overcrowding. The 1350 mm height ensures the unit fits comfortably on most worktops or counters, making it accessible for both staff and customers. The 220 kg weight indicates a substantial, stable unit that requires a solid floor or reinforced counter to support it safely.
Cleaning involves wiping down the stainless-steel surfaces with a mild detergent to remove fingerprints and spills, while the glass shelves can be removed for thorough washing. The chipboard casing should be kept dry to prevent warping or swelling. Two versions are available: a refrigerated model (CH) for chilled storage and a neutral model (NE) for ambient display without refrigeration.
The Lumina 1380 mm showcase is categorised under refrigerated display equipment for confectionery and patisserie applications.
