A hot chafing dish keeps prepared food at serving temperature without further cooking. It circulates warm water in a sealed base, transferring gentle, even heat to gastronorm pans placed above. The water bath prevents hot spots and drying, so sauces stay smooth, meats remain moist and vegetables keep their colour. A separator divides the water chamber into three independent sections, allowing different temperatures or menu items to be held side by side without mixing flavours or heat levels.
Load the base with water up to the marked level, then place the separator and the three GN1/1 pans inside. Set the desired temperature on the control dial—from a gentle 30 °C for delicate sauces to 95 °C for holding roasted meats. Once the water reaches the set point, the unit maintains it automatically. The transparent lid lets staff monitor the food without lifting it, reducing heat loss and keeping the buffet line moving smoothly.
The entire unit is built in stainless steel, including the frame, water bath and lid. Stainless steel resists corrosion from steam and food acids, and it wipes clean after service. The 2.4 kW heating element draws power from a standard 230 V single-phase circuit, the same supply used by most professional kitchen appliances.
A footprint of 1245 mm by 735 mm fits neatly on a buffet counter or pass-through, while the 880 mm height allows staff to reach the pans comfortably. The 3 GN1/1 capacity matches the standard gastronorm pan size used across catering, so existing pans and lids slot straight in without adapters.
After service, drain the water, wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth, and leave the lid open to air-dry. The stainless steel construction needs no special treatment beyond regular cleaning to prevent scale build-up in hard-water areas.
The chafing dish is supplied as a single unit with one separator for three GN1/1 pans.
