A pancake pan spreads heat evenly across a flat circular surface so that batter cooks at the same rate from edge to edge. Aluminium conducts heat quickly and holds it without hot spots, letting the cook start the next pancake as soon as the first is poured. The low rim keeps the pancake thin and easy to flip, while the broad diameter gives room for several pancakes at once without crowding.

The operator places the pan on a gas, ceramic or electric hob and sets the heat to medium. Once the surface is hot, a small amount of fat is added and spread with a brush or paper; the non-stick coating prevents sticking even when the fat is minimal. Batter is poured in a thin stream and spread with the back of a ladle or a palette knife. When bubbles rise and the edges lift, the pancake is flipped with a spatula and cooked briefly on the other side. The finished pancake is slid onto a plate, and the next one started immediately while the pan is still hot.

The pan is made from aluminium with a non-stick coating on the cooking surface. The handle is stainless steel and stays cool during use. The pan has a diameter of 260 mm and a height of 30 mm, holding up to 1.1 litres of batter.

The 260 mm diameter gives enough space to cook several pancakes side by side without overlapping, while the 30 mm height keeps the pancake thin. The 1.1 litre volume shows how much batter the pan can hold at once, letting the cook judge how many pancakes can be made in a single batch.

After use, the pan is left to cool. The non-stick surface is wiped with a soft cloth or sponge and warm soapy water. Metal utensils are avoided to protect the coating. The pan is stored in a dry cupboard to prevent moisture from damaging the aluminium or the coating.

The pan is designed for gas, ceramic and electric hobs but is not suitable for induction hobs. It is not dishwasher safe.
