A Y-fitting splits a single drain line into two outlets, letting one JURA coffee machine serve two waste-water points at once. The fitting is shaped like the letter Y: one inlet threads onto the machine's drain valve, and two outlets direct the used water to separate sinks, floor gullies or external pipes. This arrangement prevents back-pressure and keeps the machine's internal plumbing clear without extra pumps or valves.
Installation is direct: screw the Y-fitting onto the drain valve outlet, hand-tighten until snug, then attach the two waste hoses to the lower arms. No tools or sealing compounds are required; the fitting is self-sealing against the standard JURA thread. Once connected, the machine can run continuously without pausing to empty the drip tray or waste container, because the flow is divided between two exit points.
The fitting is moulded in food-safe polypropylene that withstands the temperature and acidity of coffee waste. It remains rigid under the weight of filled hoses and does not deform when the machine is moved for cleaning or service.
This spare part fits the following JURA models: IMPRESSA J5, XJ5, J7, J9.3, J9.3-CHROM, J9.3-SILVER and XJ6 PROFESSIONAL, including all listed production dates.
