A built-in waste cover designed to seal an extra-large opening while allowing easy access with a free-swing lid. The cover mounts vertically, integrating flush with worktops or cabinet fronts to keep the kitchen line unbroken. Its hinged mechanism lets the lid open smoothly without needing to hold it, so hands stay free for disposing of waste or wiping down the area.

The lid swings on concealed hinges, closing gently to avoid slamming and reducing noise in a busy kitchen. Because it is built in, the cover sits level with the surrounding surface, making it simple to sweep scraps or spills directly into the bin below without catching on edges or lips.

Constructed from stainless steel, the cover resists corrosion and staining from moisture or cleaning chemicals. The surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and sanitiser, and the hinges require no lubrication or adjustment under normal use.

The recommended cutout measures 599 by 399 millimetres, ensuring a snug fit in the prepared aperture. Once installed, the cover spans 615 millimetres in length, 1 millimetre in depth and 415 millimetres in height, forming a low-profile barrier that does not intrude into the workspace.

This cover is a direct replacement for the BHS-F E23 waste lid and fits the same vertical cutouts in compatible BHS-F waste systems.
