A wash jet directs a high-pressure stream of water to remove food residue, detergent build-up and limescale from dishwasher and glasswasher interiors. The jet is mounted inside the machine and connected to the water supply. When the wash cycle begins, the pump forces water through the jet at pressure, creating a concentrated spray pattern that reaches corners, racks and wash arms. This mechanical action dislodges particles that a simple rinse would leave behind, ensuring the next load meets hygiene standards without manual scrubbing.
To use the wash jet, the operator opens the machine door and locates the jet assembly, usually positioned at the rear or side of the wash chamber. The jet is already connected to the water inlet; no additional plumbing is required. The operator selects the dedicated wash-jet programme on the control panel, which runs a longer cycle at higher pressure than a standard wash. During the cycle, the jet rotates or oscillates, covering the entire interior surface. The operator monitors the cycle for leaks or blockages, then closes the door once the programme completes. The machine is now ready for the next service period.
The wash jet is constructed to fit the water inlet and mounting points of the specified dishwashers and glasswashers. It is compatible with AFI models A600, A35Z2 and A36; EUROSYSTEM PRO400, PRO100 and PRO200; HILTA S42MA, RB08, RB10, RB22, S22, SB08, SB10, SB12, SB22, SUPER BAR R10 and SUPER BAR R12; IME OMNIWASH 4Q82, OMBG400, OMPD500AB, OMPG400, QUATTRO T, QUATTRO T-82, QUATTROT82, TRE T, UNO CI-T, DUE A-Q, DUE A-T, DUE CI-T, DUE T, DUECL, DUECS, J35, J350, J36, J360, J40, J400, J41, J410, JA35, JA350, JA36, JA360, JA40, JA400, JA41, JA410, JOLLYAQ, JOLLYAT, JOLLYQ, JOLLYT, JOLLY-T, N350, N40, N400, N41, N410, NA350, NA40, NA400, NA41, NA410, OMBG350, OMPG350, QUATTRO Q-82, UNO A-CI-T, UNO A-T, UNO T, UNOAQ, UNOCL and UNOCS; NOSEM C4010 L; SAB ITALIA C50H, C35 and C36; and STORME LT500T, ME400, SM350 and SM350H.
Regular cleaning of the wash jet itself prevents scale from narrowing the nozzle and reducing pressure. After each use, the operator inspects the jet for visible debris and flushes it with fresh water if necessary. Descaling agents compatible with stainless steel may be used during scheduled maintenance to dissolve limescale without damaging the jet. The jet is replaced when the spray pattern becomes uneven or the pressure drops noticeably, ensuring consistent cleaning performance across all compatible machines.
This wash jet is listed in the catalogue under dishwasher and glasswasher spare parts.
