A wall-mounted dish drying shelf keeps plates, bowls and trays upright so air circulates freely around them. Moisture drains from the surfaces and evaporates instead of pooling, which cuts drying time and reduces the risk of water spots or bacterial growth. The two-tier arrangement separates clean items from those still draining, letting kitchen staff work continuously without cross-contamination.

The operator loads washed items onto the upper tier, spacing them so they do not touch. Water drips through the perforated shelf onto the lower tray, which collects it and channels it away from the worktop. Once the tray is full, it is removed, emptied and replaced. The lower tier can also hold smaller items that need extra drying time, keeping them off the work surface and within easy reach.

The shelf is made of stainless steel, which resists corrosion from constant moisture and frequent cleaning. The wall-mounted frame distributes the weight evenly across the fixing points, preventing sagging or loosening over time. A drip tray of the same material sits below the perforated shelf, sloped to direct water towards the front for easy emptying.

Controls are not required; the unit operates passively once installed. The 1400 mm width allows it to hold up to 48 plates with a maximum diameter of 300 mm, making it suitable for medium to large service volumes. The 330 mm depth keeps items within arm's reach without overhanging the worktop, while the 470 mm height provides two usable tiers without crowding the wall space.

Cleaning involves wiping the shelves and tray with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each service. The perforated design prevents water from pooling, so drying is quick and streaks are minimised. The tray is removed for thorough cleaning, ensuring no moisture remains trapped underneath.
