A static double door freezer designed for professional kitchens, the FORCAR Eco Line GN2/1 G-GNB1200BT holds bulk ingredients at deep-freeze temperatures without mechanical agitation. Static refrigeration relies on natural convection: cold air sinks from the evaporator coils, displacing warmer air upward, creating a gentle circulation that maintains even temperatures throughout the cabinet. An internal fan assists this process by distributing air evenly, preventing hot spots and ensuring consistent cooling across all shelves. This method avoids the drying effect of forced-air systems, preserving the texture and moisture of stored food over long periods.

To operate the freezer, load ingredients onto the supplied GN2/1 grids, sliding them into position on the pairs of slides. Set the electronic temperature control to the desired level between -18 °C and -22 °C, and the unit will maintain that range automatically. The self-closing doors, fitted with springs, reduce temperature loss when opened briefly, while the static cooling system continues to circulate air without interruption. Condensation water collects in a drip tray beneath the evaporator, where it evaporates naturally, eliminating the need for manual drainage in normal conditions.

The cabinet is constructed from white epoxy-painted steel, providing a durable, corrosion-resistant exterior. The interior is lined with aluminium, chosen for its thermal conductivity and resistance to moisture. A 60 mm layer of insulation separates the inner and outer walls, reducing heat transfer and stabilising internal temperatures even when the ambient environment reaches +32 °C. Height-adjustable feet, made from stainless steel AISI 430, allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, ensuring the doors seal properly and the cooling system operates efficiently.
