-18°C / -22°C freezer ventilated. Delivery time ~ 2 weeks
A ventilated freezer keeps food frozen by circulating cold air continuously around the cabinet. A fan draws air over the evaporator coil, cooling it to the set temperature before pushing it through vents into the storage space. This forced circulation eliminates hot spots and ensures every shelf reaches the same low temperature, which is essential for safe long-term storage of perishable goods.
To use the FORCAR G-EFV400, plug the unit into a 220-240 V supply and set the electronic controller to the desired temperature between -18 °C and -22 °C. The door opens with a single handle; inside, four adjustable grids and one fixed bottom grid organise stock. Once loaded, the automatic defrost cycle starts without operator input, melting ice from the coil and evaporating the condensate so no manual draining is needed.
The cabinet is built from white epoxy-coated steel sheet, giving a durable exterior that resists kitchen moisture. The interior liner is polystyrene, chosen for its insulating properties. A single blind door with reversible hinges seals the cabinet, while the rear and bottom panels are galvanised steel for corrosion resistance. The 70 mm insulation layer reduces heat transfer, helping maintain the low internal temperature even when the ambient reaches +35 °C and 65% relative humidity.
The 279 L capacity allows bulk storage of frozen goods in a footprint of 600 mm by 600 mm, fitting standard kitchen layouts. The 390 W power rating indicates the load on the electrical circuit, while the 94 kg weight means the unit is moved with a trolley or two people. The R290 refrigerant has a lower environmental impact than older gases, and the ECOVENT system reduces energy use by optimising the cooling cycle.
Cleaning involves wiping the interior liner with a mild detergent solution and rinsing the grids under warm water. The automatic condensate evaporation removes water from the defrost cycle, so no drain pan needs emptying. The door seal should be checked periodically for debris and wiped clean to maintain an airtight closure.
The G-EFV400 is supplied with four adjustable grids measuring 475 mm by 377 mm and one fixed bottom grid of 475 mm by 147 mm. Door hinges can be reversed to suit the kitchen layout. The freezer is classified in energy class D and is part of the FORCAR Eco Line range.
