Timer LF L5112277

A mechanical countdown timer keeps critical kitchen processes on schedule without relying on power or digital displays. The LF Timer 15 Minutes M11 uses a spring-driven mechanism: turning the dial winds the spring, which then unwinds at a steady rate, moving the pointer back to zero and sounding an audible alarm when the set interval expires. This method is unaffected by power cuts, grease or steam, making it dependable in high-volume environments where timing must be exact but conditions are harsh.

To use the timer, the operator turns the dial clockwise until the pointer aligns with the desired minute mark. The spring tension holds the setting, and the pointer begins its return journey immediately. No buttons, no menus, no batteries to replace. When the pointer reaches zero, a loud bell rings continuously until the dial is manually reset, ensuring the alert is noticed even over kitchen noise.

The unit is housed in a single-piece plastic casing chosen for its resistance to moisture and impact. The dial is marked in clear, high-contrast numerals for quick reading under artificial light. A small metal bracket on the reverse allows the timer to be hung on a hook or screwed to a wall, keeping it visible and within reach during service.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the casing and dial with a damp cloth; no disassembly or special agents are required. The absence of electronic components means there are no seals to fail or circuits to corrode, so upkeep is minimal.
