A four-cam timer controls the sequence of wash, rinse and drying cycles in professional dishwashers. Each cam is a shaped disc that rotates at a fixed speed, lifting and lowering switches in the correct order. The pattern of the cams determines how long each stage lasts and when the next one begins, so the machine follows the same programme every time without manual intervention.

The operator loads the dishwasher, closes the door and selects the programme. The timer then starts the pump, opens the detergent dispenser, switches the heating element on and off, and releases rinse aid at the set points. When the last cam completes its rotation, the machine stops and signals that the load is ready. No further setting is needed once the timer is installed.

This timer is a direct replacement for the original part in specified models of Angelo Po, JEMI and Rosinox dishwashers and glasswashers. It fits the control panel without modification and connects to the existing wiring harness.
